Dad murders two children; took them from wife while she was away (Kajiado North district, Kenya)

Dad JOHN KIOKA was angry at his wife for leaving him (maybe because he was violent and abusive?). So he hunted down the place she was staying, and took the children while the Mom was away. Then this sicko sent the mom a text message telling her to "wait for another message on his next course of action." Then he sent her a text telling her to look for the children at a certain location. Yes, indeed the children were there. Or at least parts of them--what was left after the remains were disturbed by dogs or other wild animals.

Father kills children in domestic row
Written By:KNA , Posted: Wed, Sep 23, 2009

A father is suspected to have ran amok and brutally killed his two children at Isinya division in Kajiado North district following a domestic row with his wife.

Police are said to be hunting for the man identified as John Kioko from Mbooni district who has gone into hiding.

Kajiado OCPD Francis Sang said Kioko is said to have quarreled with his wife Virginia Nduku after which the wife left for her matrimonial home with the two children aged three and a half and 1 year.

Nduku is said to have sought for employment at a flower farm in Isinya where she was living with the children.

However, a week ago Kioko went to the farm and took away the children while his wife was away.

Nduku says her estranged husband then sent her a text message telling her to wait for another message on his next course of action.

However, on Tuesday a woman from Isinya division saw her dog carrying a child's leg and reported the matter to Isinya Police station.

Coincidentally Nduku had by then received a text message from her husband instructing her to look for her children at a certain location which happened to be where the dog had retrieved the child's leg from.

Police officers accompanied Nduku to the site where they recovered another child's leg and blood-stained clothes which Nduku confirmed as belonging to her children.

Missing body parts

Other body parts were, however missing and police fear they may have been eaten by dogs or other wild animals.

Police are now appealing for information on the whereabouts of the man so that he can shed some light on the matter.
